to share Christ in our community
and xchange our lives
for the lives He has created us to live.

Covenant of Xchange
Because so much has been given that I might achieve the great gain of knowing Christ;
I hereby submit to the following guidelines of the Xchange Youth Ministry of Calvary Baptist Church.
I do this so that Christ might be glorified in my life as I seek to learn more about Him and His will for my life.
† I will respect this place where God has called me to worship Him, and will not dismiss the importance of my
privilege to come.
† I will respect the Word of God and will acknowledge that my own knowledge does not surpass that of God in
spite of whatever questions I may have.
† I will respect the right of my peers to hear the teaching that is being presented. I will do this
by making a conscious decision to treat others the way I wish to be treated.
† I will refuse to join in any attempt to disrespect my peers or myself and will seek God’s desires instead.
† I will respect those whom God has chose to teach me. I will submit to their authority because it has been granted
by God at this time. I will do this in honor of Him and for His glory.
† I will seek to have the attitude of Christ who humbled Himself as a servant to His friends. I will seek to serve
others above serving myself.
I understand that God’s word says that I should love God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength
and that I should love my neighbor as myself. I believe that this is God’s desire for His children
and so I hereby commit to this standard of living without reservation.
